About Cody. Cody is a shorthaired "Laperm". He is a red tabby and white boy and totally gorgeous with the personality to match. He is aN energetic young boy who loves nothing more than to play with my children, he loves his toys and the kids toys. He especially loves to play with balloons and can pick them up with his paws to enable him to put the end in his mouth and carry it off. He is a very "dextrous" cat and has great ability in using his front feet as "hands" and his dewclaws act more like little thumbs. Cody has started to become more vocal recently and responding vocally when we call on him or he wants something. When he wakens with my husband in the morning he is so excited to see me I then get wakened by lots of licking and kisses from him. In the short while we have had Cody we are totally mad about him and now I couldnt imagine being without my little Laperm boy.

March 2007

Cody is now a big boy after having his 1st birthday in the beginning of this month. He is still every bit as adorable and probably gets up to even more mischief nowadays. He still loves the kids and has developed a very special bond with my 6 year old son.
Cody has recently won Best LaPerm in Scotland and after going head to head with the gorgoeous Nitika who was the best laperm England, He managed to gain the Best Laperm UK 2007 title..We think it was his cheeky look that secured the final vote(Cody by the way thinks Nitika is totally fanciable and she appears here on page 4)
Life is never dull around here with Cody and he is definately the best cat a family could wish for.
